What is Chayne?

The Chayne community is one of many races, ages, genders and creeds where users from all walks of life communicate and form friendships based on photos & videos of organized interests.

What is a chayne?

A group of lynks (visual content) organized into a folder-like destination on the Build. In Explore, chaynes appear with a circled number on the top left indicating the number of lynks contained.

How do I make my chaynes private?

Select Build and tap the chayne you wish to make private. Tap the arrow to the right of the chayne title within the rectangle at the top. Tap the arrow to the right of ‘Public’ twice. Please note, private lynks are coming soon. Password-protection for private chaynes are also coming soon.

What is starred content? What happens if I can’t find it?

All users, chaynes and lynks (unless made private) can be starred. All starred content can be viewed by tapping the green star at the top in Explore. Often, the reason you can’t find your starred content is because either 1) You’re looking in the wrong place. Starred chaynes, lynks and users are under their respective categories or 2) You or the other user deleted the content.

How do I star a chayne?

Select the chayne on any Build (yours or someone else’s). Tap the arrow to the right of the chayne title in the rectangle. When you tap the star in the box and it turns green the chayne has been starred.

How do I get to the user’s profile from a lynk?

There are two ways to do this: 1) Tap the chayne title at the top of the lynk to get to the specific chayne where that lynk is from in the user’s build. 2) Tap the user icon to the left of the chayne at the top of the lynk to get directly to the user’s general Build.

How many videos can I take for a chayne?

For now you can take one 10-second video. We will be making substantial changes to the video feature in the coming updates.

How does report work?

Reporting works similar to flagging except we obtain a comprehensive list of the users’ violations to create security updates that keep the experience pleasurable for all.

I don’t ever want to contact this user again and I don’t want this user to ever contact me. What should I do?

Go to Friend and tap the three dots next to the specific user. Select Block User first. Then select Remove User.

Do I have to be a subscriber to share certain content to my other social media platforms?

No. All content (that isn’t private) can be shared to your other social media platforms 100% free.

What type of content is inappropriate for Chayne?

Even if your profile is completely private please only post content that you don’t mind the world seeing. We strongly advise against posting private information such as home addresses, social security numbers, government ID’s & certificates, etc.

What is a lynk?

A photo or video that can be filtered, marked or otherwise modified.

How do I make my profile private?

Tap the settings icon at the top right in Explore. Select Security. Under ‘General’ select ‘Make my profile private’.

How do I make my chaynes private?

Select Build and tap the chayne you wish to make private. Tap the arrow to the right of the chayne title within the rectangle at the top. Tap the arrow to the right of ‘Public’ twice. Please note, private lynks are coming soon. Password-protection for private chaynes are also coming soon.

I just cleared all my chaynes. Can I get them back?

In the coming update subscribed ($1.99/month) users will be able to back up and retrieve deleted content by entering a password.

How do I star a user?

First enter a user’s profile in one of two ways. 1) Tap any user profile under ‘Users’ in Explore. 2) Tap any lynk under ‘Chaynes’ or ‘Lynks’ in Explore, then tap the chayne name or user icon at the top. When the star at the top of the profile is tapped and turns green, the user has been starred.

How do I star a lynk?

Select the arrow at the top right of a lynk. Tap the star. When it has turned green, the user has been starred.

When I select ‘Similar’ in the lynk option it works the first time, but not the second. Why?

The ‘Similar’ option for Chaynes and Lynks are configured to play all content on the app with a similar Chayne title back to back.

How do flags work?

If you see a comment or media that is offensive, please flag it. Flags from different users are tallied and once the user has reached a certain number their account is instantly terminated.

Should I flag or report inappropriate content?

For anything you deem to be inappropriate please flag. For users whose actions you view as flagrantly offensive or a violation of our Terms & Conditions please report.
